Cars and trucks have begun to be seen by some as a social liability, primarily because of their impact on the environment. I want to talk about what we have to do to address those concerns, and rekindle the love affair with the automobile.

Method/Madness
As blogs go, this one violates basically all of the rules. Posts are infrequent, and when they arrive, they're usually too long. There are few live links. Posts aren't tagged. Etcetera.
That's because it's not a blog so much as a book in progress. As such, live links would all have to be converted to standard chapter footnotes eventually, so I've decided to just make the end process the starting point. (You can find a lot of the supporting documents by just throwing some key terms and author names into Google, but others exist only in hardcopy.) And long posts aren't really posts so much as sections of chapters/ manuscript pages.
Don't think of it as blog abuse; think of it as mixed media.
And hanging the whole mess out here on your computer screen puts the pressure on me to complete the manuscript sometime before my first great-grandchild arrives.
Oh, and the book will be printed on recycled paper. With natural-dye ink. And a really really small font to save on pages.
